Privacy Statement

If you have dealings with the Groningen Noord-Drenthe Employment Center, you often provide us with personal information. This includes, for example, your name, email address, and phone number.  

When we request or receive personal data from other organizations, we take great care to protect your privacy. We do this because we believe it is in your best interest, and because we are required to do so under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This is the privacy law that has applied throughout the European Union since May 2018.

Who are we?

Werkcentrum Groningen Noord-Drenthe is a partnership and is not a separate legal entity. This means that this privacy statement applies only to the personal data processed within the partnership.  

Once you have been referred to the appropriate labor market partner within the partnership, that party’s privacy statement applies.

Cookies

The cookies used are intended solely for website functionality, general statistics, and, if accepted, marketing purposes. No individual profiles are created based on such personal characteristics.

What is personal data?

Personal data is any information that says something about you. For example, your name, address, and date of birth. Information about where you have worked is also considered personal data.

Why do we process this personal data?

We process this personal data to understand your inquiry as thoroughly as possible. We also use it to forward your inquiry to a partner within the Werkcentrum Groningen Noord-Drenthe network. That partner will contact you to discuss and resolve your issue. 

How long do we retain your data?

The length of time we retain your data varies. In any case, we never retain it longer than is necessary to resolve your issue.

With whom might we share your personal data?

The parties with whom we may share your data include government agencies, educational institutions, municipalities, labor unions, and employer organizations. You can find the complete list of parties within our partnership on the About Us page. Good to know: Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

How do we protect your personal data?

We take great care to protect your personal data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational (security) measures to ensure that only authorized employees process your personal data. 

Your personal data is stored only on servers located in the Netherlands. There is expressly no data transfer outside of Europe.
