Groningen-North Drenthe Work Center
The Groningen Noord-Drenthe Employment Center is here for anyone with questions about work and education. Whether you’re an employer with questions about human resources, a resident who’s having trouble finding a job or a training program, or someone else: we’ll listen to your question and either help you right away or put you in touch with our partner organizations.
Various organizations collaborate at the Werkcentrum, including municipalities, the UWV, VNO NCW MKB Noord, FNV/CNV, SBB (Cooperative Organization for Vocational Education and the Business Community), DCTerra, Noorderpoort, Alfa-college, and DNA Next. Together, we ensure that residents and businesses in our region receive effective assistance with questions about work and education.
Everyone is welcome at the Werkcentrum. Whether you're young or old, just out of school or about to retire, looking for a job or in need of staff: we're here to help.
What We Do
At the Werkcentrum, we start with your question. We listen carefully to your story, ask follow-up questions, and offer advice by taking into account the unique situation of each person who has a question about work. We provide the right help right away or refer you to someone within our network. We’re here to help with questions you can’t figure out on your own. Together, we’ll determine what next step is right for your situation.
Our first location is in Groningen. By 2026, we’ll have more locations.
