Visiting Boskalis and Elzinga
On March 24, 2026, we’re organizing an inspiring Infra Inspiration Tour for you. During this tour, you’ll visit two major infrastructure companies: Boskalis and Elzinga. Of course, we’re not revealing just yet which projects you’ll be visiting. But both companies are very active in our province.
The Elzinga Group is a versatile company that has been active in North Groningen for nearly 80 years. During that time, we have grown into an organization with more than 185 employees. We work on a wide range of civil engineering projects, including road construction, sewer replacement, site development for residential and commercial use, and the redevelopment of areas for nature, agriculture, and industry. Boskalis Nederland is a leading contractor in hydraulic engineering and civil infrastructure projects, with a rich history and a strong focus on innovation and sustainability. Since 1910, we have carried out numerous groundbreaking projects, such as the Delta Works, Maasvlakte 2, the Sand Motor, the Marker Wadden, and infrastructure projects such as the A1 and A6 highways. The tour begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m. You’ll visit two projects run by these leading companies. Through engaging presentations and stories from professionals, you’ll get a firsthand look at just how versatile and promising a career in infrastructure can be. The program is as follows:
